COASTAL COMPETITION
A pair from Casey, Dawn, and Murph’s past are out for revenge, and they’re about to use some legal sleight of hand to get a little too close for comfort to Mallard Cove. The Shaws and Murphys thought their property was well-insulated from competitors because of laws protecting the Eastern Shore’s sensitive wetlands and shorelines. But they’re about to learn that laws can be changed by greed and money.

The trio aren’t the only ones upset about what’s happening; several environmental groups are just as angry. And someone was mad enough to kill, but guess who will get the blame? When local law enforcement is more than happy to prosecute one of the gang from Casey’s Cove, the rest of the group is determined to find the real culprit while they fight to save what should be left alone. Not all of that fight is going to take place in a courtroom.

But one of Danny’s players decided he wanted to own it, and he’ll stop at nothing until he does.

Like so many other successful people in central and western Virginia, Danny spends a few days each week in the warmer months relaxing on the shores of the Chesapeake. He keeps his boat over near the quiet little town of Mathews.

But the tranquility that Danny enjoys there is about to be shattered…
